Our Story
Built from first-hand frustration with the leasehold system, for everyone trying to organise their building properly.
LeaseholdConnect was born out of first-hand frustration. As a leaseholder trying to set up an association to challenge unreasonable service charges and hold a management company to account, I discovered there was no affordable, purpose-built tool for the job.
Everything was scattered: member details in spreadsheets, decisions lost in WhatsApp threads, meeting minutes in email attachments nobody could find, and votes conducted by awkward show of hands at poorly attended AGMs. It was clear that the lack of proper tooling was itself a barrier to leaseholders organising effectively.
The existing property management software on the market is designed for professional management companies — expensive, complex, and built for the very organisations that many leaseholders are trying to hold accountable. There was nothing built from the leaseholder’s perspective. LeaseholdConnect fills that gap.
Leaseholders deserve clear records of decisions, votes, and finances. If it's not written down, it didn't happen. LeaseholdConnect makes sure everything is on the record.
You shouldn't need technical expertise to run an association properly. We've made the platform simple enough that anyone can use it, while powerful enough to handle the complexities of leasehold governance.
We keep pricing simple and transparent so resident-led groups can get organised without paying for heavyweight managing-agent software. Our free tier is genuinely useful, not a crippled demo.
There are approximately 4.86 million leasehold properties in England. The Leasehold and Freehold Reform Act 2024 is reshaping the rights of leaseholders, and the Right to Manage process is gaining momentum. More associations are being formed than ever before.
LeaseholdConnect is built specifically for this context — the terminology, the governance structures, the share-weighted voting, the AGM requirements. It’s not a generic tool adapted for leaseholders; it’s a leaseholders’ tool from the ground up.
We’d love to hear from you — whether you’re setting up a new association, have feedback on the platform, or just want to chat about leasehold reform.
